Lions Foundation Germany (Stiftung der Deutschen Lions) acts as service provider for all German Lions Clubs to support projects that require special know-how and continuous assistance.

”We serve“ is the Lions´ motto. With nearly 1.4 million members Lions Clubs International (LCI) is one of the biggest Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) worldwide. Lions work voluntarily for people in need.

About 47.600 members in 1.400 Lions Clubs in Germany care for a better society. Lions initiate and support various projects, to make the world worth living for everyone.

Lions Foundation Germany assists all Lions Clubs in Germany by coordinating national and international projects as well as humanitarian relief actions. The main fields of work are: National and International Projects, the social-learning program Lions Quest “Erwachsen werden”, and the international Lions Youth Exchange.

Voluntary board members and the team of employees are working hand in hand. Lions Foundation Germany cooperates with internationally recognized aid-organizations and Lions Clubs abroad. The foundation is under the supervision of the German Central Institute for Social Issues (DZI) and is yearly awarded with the DZI donation award since 2002.
